Rod Tanner backed into the Broadcasting business in 1969 while he was in the US Navy. His first commercial Radio job was in Marion, Indiana at WBAT starting January 1, 1972. Since then he has worked at numerous Radio & TV Stations in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis and around the Indiana area, as well as Miami, Florida.

Rod has also spent many years working in and around various Clubs as a DJ & Entertainer, and had a Mobile DJ business for several years in Indianapolis.

The last five years he has been Production Director for a six station radio group, PA Announcer for various sporting events in the Fort Wayne area including St. Francis Football and Women's Basketball games and Baer Field Speedway, and, of course, doing free-lance voice over work for various TV Stations and Ad Agencies.
